Ending the long wait of nearly 13 years, Indian women won the Asia Cup Hockey 2017. On Sunday, in a nail biting match, Indian women beat China 5-4 and bagged the trophy. With this, the team booked their ticket for next year’s World Cup 2018. Skipper Rani Rampal and Savita Punia are being showered with loads of love and praises for their brilliant performances.
The Indian women’s team clinched the Asia Cup title by beating Japan 1-0 in 2004.
