Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa died on December 5, 2016 at Apollo Hospital in Chennai and two months after her demise, a team of doctors from Apollo Hospital and Dr Richard Beale, a lung specialist from Britain said that they wanted to 'dispel the rumours' that are doing rounds due to inadequate information about her health condition over her 75 days stay in the hospital.
The doctors revealed several facts regarding her health condition including the bill of Rs. 5.5 crore was given to Jayalalithaa's family for her 75-day treatment. But several questions are swirling on social media as who are the family members of Jayalalithaa that the doctors given the bill.
Also, several people are questioning as why the doctors took so long (two months after her demise) to held a press conference for the same.
A doctor confirmed that she was conscious when she signed off on a document for by-elections in the state. There was a speculation on her condition since the document bore her thumb impression and not her signature.
