On Wednesday, actor Vishal took to his Twitter account and tweeted to President Ram Nath Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He tweeted saying he hopes justice prevails. He made headlines after he was disqualified from contesting the RK Nagar by-election in Tamil Nadu.
In his tweet, he said, "My nomination was accepted & later rejected. Totally unfair. I bring this to your notice & I hope justice prevails."

Vishal met chief electoral officer and urged him to reconsider the decision. The 40-year-old actor said that he is planning to meet Governor Banwarilal Purohit to lodge a complaint.
