Six extra leaves for non-smokers in Japan

Smoking turned out to be a habit across many and the numbers have been rising high which is keeping many lives in risk. A Japanese firm felt that non-smokers are productive than others and it granted six extra paid leaves to all those who never smoked in their life.

The step was taken in September after an employee suggested the measure earlier in the year. The non-smoking staff working in Piala Inc complained that they have been working more than their smoking officemates after which the marketing firm granted six extra paid holidays per year.
