Actor Sivaji’s call for action to attain special category status

Film actor and Andhra Pradesh Pratyeka Hoda Sadhana Samithi leader Sivaji issued a call to the people of Andhra Pradesh to fight for the special category status. He said that Operation Garuda was being implemented and the people must fight against it. He said that a capital city is the centre of opportunities and criticised the attempts being made to stall the development of Amaravati. Speaking on the occasion of Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu’s protest in Vijayawada, Sivaji made an energetic appeal for united action.

Sivaji said that the Centre was attempting to derail the protest for special category status by creating turbulence in the state. He said that the protests henceforth must resound in Delhi as well. He seconded Hindupuramu MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna’s statement that only an organized and forceful protest would make an impact on PM Modi. He sarcastically commented that Gujaratis could not convinced with words. He said that the special category status would be attained, issuing an open challenge to the Centre, in which he was joined by Balakrishna.
