One of the most acclaimed filmmakers, Ravi Babu is making waves in the T-Town with his upcoming film titled “Adhugo”. The film features a piglet called Bunty as one of the main characters. Now, the director revealed that he had to use nearly 150 piglets to play the role.
Speaking in an interview, he said, “Pigs grow very quickly, and you can see a difference within days. So we would shoot with one piglet for a couple of days, and then have to get a replacement. We had to use nearly 150 different piglets in the film.”
He added, “We used actual piglets to capture movements, and then we re-created them using 3D animation. The animated version looks more real than a live pig!”
Ravi Babu said, “The animation work is critical for this film, that’s why it has taken so long to complete.”
