On Thursday, the political parties of Andhra Pradesh will block the national highways across the state between 10 AM and 2 PM to protest against the Modi government for not granting the special status to the state.
The bandh was called by Left parties and have been backed by the ruling Telugu Desam Party (TDP), YSR Congress and Pawan Kalyan’s Jana Sena Party.
Also, the TDP has asked all government employees to wear black badges today as a sign of protest.
