Rajat Kumar, the chief electoral officer of the Election commission from Telangana had clarified that the state is ready of early polls and his team is examining the EVMs. Rajat Kumar further clarified that as per the rules of Election commission, elections should be conducted within 6 months and the EC officials along with the IAS officers are working towards the same.
He also hinted that the central commission team will visit Hyderabad once again. Rajat said that they have been monitoring the proceedings and the EC would take the final call on the suitable dates to conduct the polls. Though the political parties claim that the time won’t be sufficient for the voters to register their votes, the EC is of the opinion that there won’t be any paucity of time.
