At least 50 school children were rescued in a dramatic operation after their bus was submerged in a flooded underpass. The incident took place in Dausa, Rajasthan. The underpass had been flooded by two days of incessant rainfall.
The bus was almost completely submerged when it drove into it. Only bus’ roof was visible. At first, the children climbed on top of the bus and were then helped one by one by local people with the help of ropes.
