After receiving huge backlash for the data breach row, the social media giant Facebook has come out with an interesting feature of dating service. Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg had officially announced that his company will launch a new feature on its app later this year that will allow users to create a dating profile and match with potential love interests.
“This is going to be for building real, long-term relationships – not just for hookups,” joked Zuckerberg. He also said that this feature will be optional and will be launched soon. However, Zuckerberg didn’t specify the exact launch date of this dating service.
FacebookChief Product Officer Chris Cox said the company has been thinking about a dating feature on Facebook since 2005.
