In a country like India where the movie stars are often treated as the demi-gods, a comment against their favorite actor usually leads into a chaos. Every fanbase has some rough moments and Allu Arjun’s fanbase is one such. Allu Arjun is not a star only in Telugu but his stardom is on par with the leading heroes of Malayalam and he has amassed huge fan base in Mollywood as well.
The fans who are going gaga over Allu Arjun’s ‘Naa Peru Surya Naa Illu India’ couldn’t digest the genuine feedback given by a Malayali film critic Aparna Prasanthi and threatened to rape her.
As soon as Aparna Prasanthi posted her opinion on the movie, the fans of Allu Arjun started an attack on her with abusive comments and rape threats. Some of them have even attacked her friends and many have reported her account which resulted in the suspension of her Facebook account.
Scared by the constant messages and threats, Aparna has filed a complaint with Mallapuram Police last Thursday. A case has been registered and the investigation is under process.
