The 21st birthday of Britisher Jack Prosser, a student of Bristol University, has led to a controversy. Jack Prosser organized a grand coming-of-age birthday party at an exclusive club in Belgrave in Central London. Prosser and his friends were seen clad in opulent Indian traditional clothes. The party’s theme was summed up by Prosser’s father as ‘Indian glamour meets Colonial chic’.
This matter came to the notice of the Bristol University’s Black and Minority Ethnic Committee, who expressed their anger. The Committee said that the students had behaved in a disappointing and bewildering manner. Meanwhile, Jack Prosser assured that it was not his intention to disrespect anyone.
