ISRO launches its 100th satellite

On Friday morning, the Indian space agency ISRO launched its 100th satellite, four months after an unsuccessful satellite launch.

The ISRO sent rocket – The Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle or PSLV at around 9.29 am from Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh. It carried India’s 100th satellite along with 30 others.

 

Scientists said the mission will be a unique one, since the satellites will be launched in two orbits.
