Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Wednesday hiked profit share by 2% to the Singareni Collieries workers.
He asked the Singareni company’s CMD to increase the share from 25%, which was given last year, to 27% this year.
Mr. Rao said performance related PRP, which has not been paid in the last eight years, would be paid to Singareni officers immediately and promised to allot land to the officers in Hyderabad so that they can construct houses.
The Chief Minister also announced Rs 10 lakh interest free loan facility to officers and other employees for building houses on a par with Singareni workers.
