The High Court has provided relief to Telangana Congress leaders Komatireddy Venkat Reddy and Sampath, who were expelled from the membership of the Telangana state Legislative Assembly in the previous Budget session.
It is known the the Assembly has decided to expel these two leaders in connection with Komatireddy hurling the mike set at TRS MLC Swamy Goud, injuring his eye. The High Court has now ordered the government that the expulsion must be reversed and both leaders restored as MLAs with all the privileges of their position until the end of their term.
