One policeman was injured on Sunday when a group of heavily-armed terrorists opened fire at the home of Jammu and Kashmir minister Farooq Andrabi in Anantnag district. He is a leader of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party or PDP.
According to the police, the terrorists forced their way into the house in Dooru and took away four rifles. When the incident took place, the minister was not present at the house.
Also, on Saturday night, terrorists barged into a house of a sub-inspector and took his son and nephew hostage and ransacked the home. The terrorists droved away in a car and then released the boys and also set the car on fire.
