Back in 2012 in the USA, Yandamuri Raghunandan heniously murdered baby Shanvi and her grandmother. The courts, in 2014,sentenced him to death for his henious crime. The prison authorities have decided upon 23rd February as the date of execution. If the punishment is carried out, Raghu will be the first person of Indian origin to be executed in the USA. There is a chance, however, that the death sentence may be postponed. This is because capital punishment is banned in the state of Pennsylvania. The sentence cannot be carried out until the Governor of Pennsylvania allows it.
