AICC President Rahul Gandhi’s first act after becoming Prime Minister would be to approve special status for Andhra Pradesh, said AP PCC chief Raghuveera Reddy. He took part in the ‘Andhrula Atma Gourava Deeksha’, a protest against the injustice meted out to the state in the Central budget, organized at the Guntur Collectorate.
He said that this one month was very critical for the state and everyone must fight for Andhra Pradesh so that the Centre feels the heat. He declared that anyone who opposed special status was betraying Andhra Pradesh. He lamented that the TDP and YCP had cemented a flawed alliance with the BJP and demanded that the bifurcation promises must be fulfilled at once.
