The Soyuz MS-11 rocket launched by Russia disappeared in seconds after it’s being launched. However, ESA astronaut Alexander Gerst captured footage from the ISS of Soyuz MS-11 launch blasting off this week. The rocket was carrying astronauts Anne McClain, David Saint-Jacques, and Oleg Kononenko to the ISS.
Soyuz MS-11 launched on December 3, a few weeks earlier than originally planned. The mission was advanced after Russia’s October launch failed, forcing astronauts to abort.
After being launched, Soyuz MS-11 spacecraft entered a designated orbit just under nine minutes and is set to dock at the space outpost in about six hours after making four orbits of the earth.
The spacecraft will study the climatic situations on the earth and send the reports.
