The researchers who are carrying researches on the marine animals in the Hawaiian islands spotted a bizarre pairing at French Frigate Shoals in the Northwestern Hawaiian Islands.
A small Eel fish was found stuck in the nostril of a seal and was struggling to come out. After a long struggle, they successfully took the Eel out of Seal’s nostril and the Eel was unlucky as it was deade later. However, the Seal is safe.
According to the team with the Hawaiian Monk Seal Research Program, they have come across this strange phenomenon only a handful of times in the past 40 years and are clueless how the eel found itself in a slippery situation.
