US President-elect Donald Trump may appoint South Carolina governor Nikki Haley as the next Secretary of State. Reports stated that Mr Trump is considering Nikki Haley for the position in his adminstration and may appoint her after moving to the White House.
She is scheduled to meet the president-elect on Thursday. If everything falls in place, she would be the first person of Indian to acquire the post. He is also expected to meet Florida Gov. Rick Scott, Cincinnati Mayor Ken Blackwell, NSA head Mike Rogers, Rep. Jeb Hensarling (Texas), and former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger.
