A 11-year-old Hyderabad boy Agastya Jaiswal made headlines as a 'child prodigy' as he managed to pass the class XII senior secondary school exams. He passed the examinations six years ahead of his schedule. He studied at St Mary's Junior College at Yousufguda in Hyderabad and his subjects included - civics, economics and commerce.
His father Ashwani Kumar said that he passed the intermediate second year with 63 per cent and added his son is the first person in the state to have passed the exam at such a young age.
The boy cleared the SSC exam at 9 in 2015 and then took the permission from the Telangana SSC Board to appear for the exam. He added that but no such special permission is needed to appear for intermediate exam.
