Ending days of suspense, Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao on Thursday asked the Governor ESL Narasimhan to dissolve the assembly and he has accepted Mr. Rao’s recommendation.
Till then, Mr. Rao will stay on as the caretaker CM.
With this, he cleared the decks for early assembly elections in the state. This will push forward the elections from middle of 2019 to end of this year.
