Of late, we have been witnessing incidents of wives either trying to kill or killing their husbands mostly due to extra-marital affairs. In one more such a shocking incident, Neelima (19) tried to kill her husband Naveen Kumar (23) just within 20 days after their marriage.
Getting into the details, Naveen Kumar of Malanaraspur and Neelima got married on 9th May. While the couple were on their way to Naveen’s house, Neelima who was sitting behind on the bike tried to slit his throat with a sharp knife. Though Naveen didn’t die, he was severely injured and fell off from the bike and Neelima fled away from the spot.
The locals admitted Naveen to the hospital and informed the police. The police took Neelima into custody and suspect an extra-marital affair behind this. The incident took place in Srikakulam district.
