1061 appointments in one day…This is a record!
Telangana Minister Harish Rao announced that the appointment of 1061 Assistant Professor posts was taken up in a single day. According to him, this is a record in the country. He stated that these appointments were done most transparently.
He said that to strengthen the medical facilities in Telangana, the Government is establishing new medical colleges and also to appoint staff on a massive scale. Harish Rao said that in this year alone, 80 thousand Government jobs are going to be given. As part of that process, these 1061 persons were given jobs. He also disclosed that in the last month, more than 900 persons got jobs…He also announced the good news for the contract-based workers of Aayush numbering about 1331, who are working as the Para medical staff…that their employment would be made permanent.
Harish Rao further announced that in the Health Department, another 9,222 posts will be filled up in the coming two months. He also said that the poor people were able to get better quality medical facilities within their reach. He asked the medical doctors to interact with the patients more often and also with a human touch. He also said that now, in the districts also…Super Speciality Hospital services were available.
The Minister proudly said that in a teaching hospital like Warangal also, Organ transplantations are being conducted. He also said that 100 percent of institutional deliveries are happening in the Telangana State. He also announced that with effect from the ensuing month onwards, 134 tests would be readily available in all the Government Hospitals.
