Registered as the single largest outbreak outside China, the British Diamond Princess cruise ship which had been carrying 3,711 people on board was kept in quarantine off the coast of Yokohama, Japan from the past one month. Meanwhile, a video surfaced which showed the Indian passengers lashed out on the ship operators of Princess Cruises.
Several Indian crew members were seen appealing the Indian government to send help. Upon which the Indian Embassy made a series of appeals to the Chinese government to send back the Indian under quarantine.

After one month, an Air India flight on Thursday brought back to the national capital 119 Indians and five foreigners on board. These Indians will reportedly be quarantined at a medical facility set-up by the Indian Army in Manesar in Haryana. On this note, Foreign Minister S Jaishankar took to his social media handles to thank Indian Embassy in Tokyo for its efforts in rescuing Indians.
