October 1st, 2020 turned to be special for prominent Allu family, as they made a special announcement marking the 99th birth anniversary of legendary comedian Allu Ramalingaiah. The late star comedians family members- son Allu Aravind and grandsons Allu Arjun, Bobby Allu and Allu Sirish launched a large scale film shooting studio in Hyderabad.
Named after Allu Ramalingaiah, the film studio which will soon turn into the state of art film studio in Gandipet area of Hyderabad was inaugurated by Allu family on Thursday. Allu Arjun took to Twitter to share the big news with pictures from the inauguration.

“1st of October marks the 99th birth anniversary of our beloved Dr Sri Allu Ramalingaiah. To commemorate the occasion and honour his memory, the Allu family will inaugurate the construction work of ALLU Studios,” read his post.
It can be noted that Allu Ramalingaiah’s son Allu Aravind, founded a production company, Geetha Arts, in 1972 and emerged as one of the star producers in Tollywood. With this, the Allu family joins other families in Tollywood which also operate their own production houses and studios while the Daggubati’s own Ramanaidu Studios and 22-acre Annapurna Studios is founded by Akkineni’s. Ramoji Film City at the outskirts of Hyderabad is another studios which housed many mega budgeted films including ‘Baahubali’.
