Tolivelugu has been saying this multiple times for a long time that ever since TRS came to power in the Telangana state, the exploitation of government lands is increasing exponentially. We at Tolivelugu did thorough research work and published a series of blogs about the land encroachment activities in the Telangana state, with pieces of evidence. The negligence of government officials in some matters has been reaching new heights. It was in this context that TPCC President Revanth Reddy deposed the government over the encroachment of a precious piece of land in the heart of the city.
A case is pending in the court regarding government land worth Rs 2,000 crore in Banjara Hills and Jubilee Hills area. But while it was going on, the people who exploited it already got permission to do the layout. Nearly 30 acres of government land are being handed over to private individuals by Revenue and GHMC officials. Revanth asked a lot of questions on Twitter in this regard.

“Who is the mastermind behind the Rs 2,000 crore robbery in the heart of the city? Is this extortion possible without the knowledge of Municipal Minister KTR? Can CS and Municipal Commissioners do so much without the orders of Telangana CMVO? Lay-out permits should be revoked in Survey No. 327. Government land must be protected.”

Most of the land in the city is in illegal hands with the help of corrupt politicians. There are allegations that the ruling party leaders are committing unrestrained scams in the name of the land. Realtors say that some are silently handing over to their own companies, meanwhile, others are being charged commissions for running the story.
