‘Despite what anybody says, Telangana government has come down only because of the pressure from Congress party,” says Revanth Reddy. From the very beginning, Revanthhas been claiming that both BJP and TRS party were collaboratively playing tactics in Telangana state with the farmers’ grain procurement issues. He has been indirectly criticizing TRS and BJP for the 60-40 sharing methodology.
However, Revanth Reddy has been waging a rice war since KCR announced that the state government would buy the grain. It has been alleged that a rice scam has been going on in the state for 8 years. Recently, key comments were made on Twitter about the scandal.

“The rice scam has been comfortably going on in Telangana for eight years. If in the Nizamabad district alone they exploited one lakh quintals of rice during the monsoon season, what would be the level of scam across the state? Is this possible without the knowledge of KCR? Who is stopping the BJP from ordering a CBI probe?”
Revanth Reddy is demanding a CBI probe into the rice scam in the state. Meanwhile, recently, he also urged the state governor Tamilsai to take the initiative in this regard. Revanth, who has already been observing the loopholes in the grain purchases, is now going aggressive against TRS in this issue.
