Creating ripples in the thirteen districts in the state, the Anti Corruption Bureau(ACB) sleuths have conducted surprise checks on multiple government offices of various departments on Wednesday.
While the raids in seven district are still going on by the time of reporting, CB sleuths are learnt to register cases on many officials who were caught red-handed while accepting the bribe.
Tahsildar offices across the state were said to be the main target, ACB officials raided four Sub Registrar Offices and one Town Planning office and another Mandal Parishad Development Office across the state.
Rs 2 lakh was found in Ibrahimpatnam Tahsildar’s car while 30 Pattadar passbooks which were not distributed from the past three months were found at Santhakaviti Tahsildar office in Srikakulam.
It is to the known knowledge that Jagan government has taken up anti-corruption motto on the serious note while the government has already launched 14400 toll-free help number through which citizens can call the toll-free number to lodge complaints regarding corruption at government offices.
It can be noted that IIM Ahmedabad has recently submitted the reports directing further action against corruption after a detailed study in various government offices.
