Kurnool: Did AP Fibernet become an adda for corruption? Are they looting thousands of crores from the operators? Yes, says the recent arrest of the marketing manager who was red-handedly caught by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) sleuths. R. Ramachandra, the district marketing manager for AP Fibernet, Kurnool was caught by the ACB while taking a bribe of Rs. 1,50,000. Sources revealed that Ramachandra has confronted that his higher officials were also involved in this with certain share. He stated that the money was from a local operator who sought him for local channels. AP Fibernet which was taken up on a prestigious front by the previous government has been facing allegations of looting the local operators from day one. Operators who have fallen victims to the corruption of employees and officials from two years have reportedly appealed the ACB to hold such inspections in all the districts.
