As the protests across Amaravati reached to 30 days against the ‘three capital’ proposal, farmers across the 29 villages have been fathoming the support from various welfare organisations and leaders with each passing day. While former CM & TDP chief Chandrababu has been fighting alongside the farmers from day one, BJP state unit president Kanna Lakshmi Narayana joined the protest at Uddandarayunipalem followed by a roll of support from politicians. On this note, news that actor-turned-politician and Hindupur TDP MLA Balakrishna will take up the Amaravati cause is taking rounds in political circles.
Sources revealed that the son of legendary actor and founder of TDP will not only tour the capital villages but will also join the sit-in protest along with the farmers. News has it that Balakrishna will be accompanied by his son-in-law Nara Lokesh, daughter Brahmani and wife Vasundhara during the visit to Amaravati villages Tulluru, Mandadam and Velagapudi. It is to the known knowledge that Chandrababu has already taken part in the protests on the eve of Makara Sankranthi. Amidst all the opposition leaders raising concerns over the ‘three capital’ proposal, an MLA and well-established figure like Balakrishna staying tightlipped triggered criticism.
