Amidst the increasing demands for the CBI probe in the suspicious death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput from all spectrums, the central government of Wednesday transferred the case to Central Bureau Of Investigation.
The Supreme Court was informed the same while the bench has given Maharashtra, Bihar and Sushant Singh Rajput’s father KK Singh three days to respond to the plea by Ms Chakraborty.
The apex court has also rejected the plea filed Rhea Chakraborty’s lawyer seeking interim protection. So with no interim protection for from questioning, the Bihar Police can enquire Rhea in connection to the case.
“The truth behind the death of ‘gifted and talented’ artist Sushant Singh Rajput should come out. Now everyone has an opinion about high profile cases but we will proceed as per law,” said Justice Hrishikesh Roy.
It is to the known knowledge that the Maharastra government opposing the CBI probe into the death case has created tension between the police of the two states. Mumbai police on the hand claimed to recover all clues necessary conclusion that the actor suffered from Bipolar disorder. The department stated that they enquired almost 50 people in connection with the case.
The Bihar police launched a parallel probe last week after the Sushant’s father filed a complaint against Rhea Chakraborty. The complaint alleged that Rs 15 crore was missing from Sushant Singh’s account.
Meanwhile, Bihar police chief approached the Mumbai police stating the accused Rhea is absconding along with her family. He also urged the department to exempt IPS officer Vinay Tiwari from being quarantined.
