On a macro level, we can say that no one can actually interpret the real intentions of any politician based on what he says in public. The state of affairs in Telangana is definitely taking that road with respect to the sensational comments made by Chief Minister KCR against the center and particularly Prime Minister Narendra Modi. KCR has been attacking the BJP party on all levels, stating that BJP is dangerous to the country and the party must be eliminated from the country itself. He even went on to say that if needed he will think of participating in national politics. This sudden change from KCR is leaving everyone in surprise.
The whole saga began when BJP came to power in the center in 2014, while TRS came to power in the state. In the past 7 years, BJP has won in several states making it impossible for the opposition parties even to take a breath. To maintain this winning streak, the party also took some key decisions to cement its position in Telangana state. As a part of this, they appointed Bandi Sanjay as the party president. It is evident that BJP is gradually gaining strength at the local level. The results were quite clear if we take a look at BJP’s stunning wins in Dubaka, GHMC, and Huzurabad elections, only to add further excitement for the BJP leaders. Political pundits feel that looking at BJP’s journey, KCR is quite concerned and now finally acting on it.
It is believed that KCR has always dreamt of accomplishing milestones in national politics. During the 2018 elections, he always created quite a hype talking about forming a political front. However, he remained silent for the following years, only to raise his voice again now. In his speeches, KCR is seen severely criticizing Modi’s regime with the slogans like ‘BJP Must GO’. In addition to that, he even made some sensational corruption allegations against BJP, adding that he has a list of everything BJP had done illegally and he will also consider approaching the supreme court with everything.
The whole country has seen KCR agreeing to all the bills introduced by BJP since 2014, no questions asked. The sudden change in his attire is startling for the political pundits. Over the years Parliament has witnessed support for the NDA and now it is ridiculous to say that the government is corrupt. ‘If KCR feels that all the schemes and bills introduced by the center are corrupted, why didn’t he question anything at all?’ asks experts. On the other hand, BJP has been criticizing the KCR government for years for extensive corruption in the state. Analysts believe that KCR is intentionally attacking the center only to provoke them and do something unusual like detentions and arrests of TRS leaders so that he can attain votes and sympathy from the general public.
