It is very well known that the AP cabinet was recently reshuffled by Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. A new cabinet of 25 was formed. Ministers also started their work with great enthusiasm. Many leaders, however, were frustrated with the prospect of ministerial posts. Some of them have openly expressed their dissatisfaction. In this context, many political scholars are analyzing that the change of ministerial class has in fact caused great internal damage to Jagan.
Will KCR, like Jagan, will get into trouble by shuffling his cabinet? A debate of this kind is raging in political circles. In fact, the speculations about re-shuffling the Telangana cabinet came even before the change of the AP cabinet. But KCR did not focus on that. There was widespread news stating that KCR will come up with a new cabinet by the Sankranthi festival, however, there is no update about anything even today. Meanwhile, during this period of time, Jagan changed the cabinet and surprised everyone. However, his change sparked outrage within the party.
Analysts warn that if KCR does such changes in his cabinet, as per the current situation in Telangana, KCR will surely get unexpected shocks. Because Jagan’s rule is only three years, the leaders in the party are also very few. But it is not so in the TRS party. In the past 8 years, KCR welcomed everyone into his party whoever is interested. Although he did so with the concept of eliminating the opposition, analysts say that in the end, this decision will bring down KCR’s regime.
There is currently a situation in the TRS party where many leaders from other parties walked in expecting a ministerial position very soon. Many leaders are secretly holding meetings and threatening the CM on resigning from the party if they are not given any position. All of them are actually giving in-direct hints to KCR. Analysts warn that making changes to the cabinet under these circumstances could have serious implications. However, KCR’s recent decisions and activities clearly state that he has no intentions of extending the ministerial positions to anyone.
On the other hand, there are suspicions that early elections may be one of the reasons why KCR is not expanding its cabinet. Analysts say the announcement of jobs and the government’s rush in the name of other development programs is implying that the party is secretly warming up for an early election. It is being said that KCR is thinking of not changing the cabinet and going to the polls with those who already cemented their positions in the cabinet.
