Farmers urge MLA Aaroori Ramesh to stop land pooling in the Hanmakonda district. Shortly after holding a press meet with Minister Errabelli Dayakara Rao at his office, Ramesh received signs of rebellion from farmers in Perumadlagudem. Extreme tensions erupted as the MLA was blocked by land pooling victims.
Farmers who had blocked the MLA car from moving forward demanded the complete abolition of land pooling. They also made it clear that the Dalit Bandhu scheme should be applied in a way it will be of help to the deserving and only then they will let the MLA enter their village. They were incensed that the government was conspiring to seize their subsistence lands.
The farmers said that the GO brought against their lands should be abolished. No matter how hard the MLA tried with the villagers, the attendees weren’t convinced. Not knowing how to react, the MLA simply turned away without fully finishing his program.
