Days after AP employees associations have issued an ultimatum to go on indefinite strike in December if the government fails to implement new PRC, AP CM Jagan on Friday made a crucial announcement on the same.
CM Jagan who is touring the flood-affected areas has met with the representatives of the Employee Association at Tirupati Saraswati Nagar regarding the PRC. On this occasion, CM Jagan reportedly assured that the PRC process was complete and would make an announcement in the next ten days.
The agitations came on the heels of Telangana CM KCR announcing a new PRC for Telangana employees in March this year. KCR announced 30% fitment (hike on basic pay) as part of new PRC while AP employees unions are demanding 40% fitment.
