At this point in time, one can say that the comments made by KTR during the Warangal tour are over the top. Opposition party leaders heavily criticized KTR’s comments. AICC national spokesperson Dasoju Shravan said KTR was focusing on manipulating people with his words by targeting the opposition and mocking the center, instead of discussing the current issues in the state. He took it out at KTR for trying to play diversion politics when the people of Telangana are suffering.
He said that a High Power Committee was set up on GO 111 in 2016 and reported on March 31, 2022, and the details are in the GO itself. Sravan went on to say that the details mentioned in the GO must be revealed to the public. “Do you think this is your personal work?” he questioned. He warned that there is a possibility of the danger of two reservoirs turning into another Hussain Sagar.
Sravan further questioned the setting up of a committee to repeal the 111 GOs in a hurry and asked the government to focus on protecting the reservoirs and the environment there. Does the government have an actual conscience? He alleged the government of insider trading on land under 111 GO. He was incensed that the GO had been repealed to benefit the TRS leaders those who had bought large tracts of land.

Sravan fired at the government for conspiring to dry up two reservoirs. He mentioned that the 69 GO is strictly contradicting the judgment of the High Court, demanding that it must be withdrawn immediately. He also wanted the officials to disclose guidelines on how they plan on protecting the reservoirs.
