Recently the AP government took a sensational decision announcing an online portal for movie ticket sales and dropped a bombshell reducing the prices of tickets. The respective bill to sell tickets at prices set by the government was also passed in the assembly. In the line of which, the theatres are banned from screening benefit and fan shows.
However, Sanghamitra Theater in Mylavaram, Krishna District screened a benefit show of ‘Akhanda’ for Nandamuri fans at 8 am. Authorities who learned about the news rushed to the theatre and seized it. The decision was made for violating the rules and screening the benefit show without permission.
