Amaravati: In a major setback, former legislator from Rajahmundry, Akula Satyanarayana submitted his resignation to Janasena party amidst the rumours of joining the ruling bandwagon. This has come as a blow to the party cadre who is already in a hindrance with a row of resignation. The senior leader who quit his parent party BJP just before the elections has lost to YSRCP’s Marganti Bharat Ram for Rajamandry Lok Sabha seat. The ideological differences with BJP regarding the special status drew him towards Janasena though he was speculated to join TDP back then. With this Akula joined the other leaders like former minister Ravela Kishore Babu, senior leaders Chintala Pardha Saradhi, Maramsetti Raghavaiah and Addepalli Sridhar who left the party of late.
