The most-waited pre-release event of Allu Arjun-Sukumar ‘Pushpa’ ended on a bad note with the actor’s fans injured and the organizers canceling the meet and greet arranged after the event. Tension ran high at the N-Convention Center which hosted the event after Allu Arjun’s fans protested against the cancellation of the photo session.
The problem occurred as the event managers issued more passes than the venue could manage. This led to a stampede-like situation. The bouncers have allegedly manhandled the fans leading to the actor canceling the meet & greet and leaving the place. Later police intervened and took the situation into control. The police have filed a case against the event organizers.
Another case was filed against Mythri Movie Makers under 143 ( Punishment for unlawful assembly), 341(Punishment for wrongful restraint), 336 (act endangering life or personal safety of others) and 290 (Punishment for public nuisance) of IPC after its event witnessed a gathering of over 15,000 people against the permitted 5,000 guests during a pre-release event held on Sunday.
Allu Arjun took to Twitter to address the ‘unfortunate incident’ and said that this will never happen again. “I got to know about the unfortunate incident of my fans getting injured at a fan meet event today. My team is personally monitoring the situation and keeping me updated. Henceforth, I will take a lot of care to ensure that such incidents don’t happen again. Your love and admiration is my biggest asset and I am never going to take them for granted.”
