And the time has come..! The ruling YSRCP which once gave a nod to Amaravati-capital decision taking a U-turn now ought to give an explanation for the High Court.
In the line of the notices served to the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and YSRCP president Jagan Mohan Reddy, the High Court ordered to submit the reason behind the party changing its policy regarding the state capital.
The notices were issued based on a petition filed by the farmers who gave their lands for the construction world-class capital, Amaravati. In a twist in the tale, respective notices were issued to BJP and the then ruling party TDP as well.
The petition reportedly specified the change in political policies while all the parties stood on the same decision back in 2017. However, the farmers didn’t include Jana Sena Party.
