While the Telangana BJP unit is basking in the success of Praja Sangrama Yatra held by President Bandi Sanjay, the high command now started to maintain a close watch on the state politics. All eyes are now on the September 17th public meeting in Nirmal district which will have the presence of Union Minister Amit Shah.
Reportedly, the whole state cadre and high command pinned hopes on Amit Shah and his power-packed speech which would increase the morale of the party workers. Political analysts observed that the BJP gained momentum in Telangana after the GHMC elections by giving a tough fight and its victory in the Dubbaka by-election boosted the confidence of party leaders.
The morale amplified with Etala Rajendra joining the party after his reft with KCR while many ground reports predicted BJP’s victory in Huzurabad. Bandi Sanjay’s padayatra with powerful speeches as well has been receiving good response.
However, KCR’s recent Delhi visit and a few events followed by has left the political circles in splits. PM Modi giving appointment out of his tight schedule and reports over central government’s involvement in postponing the by-polls triggered speculations over BJP-TRS secret alliance.
Amidst this political uncertainty, Amit Shah’s speech in the upcoming public meeting is anticipated to give clarity about BJP’s stand on TRS. What will be the meeting’s agenda..? Will it be ’Target KCR’ or ‘Target Congress’..? The answer to this question will decide the BJP’s course of action in the upcoming assembly elections propaganda.
