With the boost from the victory in panchayat and municipality polls, the Jagan-led ruling government seems to gear up in targeting the SEC and the main opposition TDP.
While the CID has already tightened the noose around TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu and Former minister Narayana, the privilege committee which will meet today will reportedly focus on SEC Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar.
The committee will reportedly discuss the complaint filed by minister Peddireddy against the SEC over insulted the former during the election. The meeting which will be held via Zoom at 6 PM today will be chaired by Assembly rights committee chairman Kakani Govardhan Reddy.
To recall, it all started with minister Peddireddy passing serious comments on SEC at a press conference. While SEC raised objection over the comments with heated counters, Peddireddy approached the court on the same and got relief.
