In an unexpected twist in the YSRCP minister Kodali Nani- SEC Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar saga over the derogatory remarks made by the former, the AP High Court on Sunday gave a ‘tape’ twist.
Refusing to grant immediate relief to Kodali Nani, the High Court asked the SEC o submit video footage, along with its transcription, of the civil supplies minister.
The orders were given followed by the SEC lawyer N Ashwani Kumar’s request to cross-check with the videotapes. To recall, Kodali Nani moved a House Motion before the Court challenging SEC’s orders directed Nani not to speak to media till elections are completed.
Earlier, Minister Kodali Nani apparently targeted SEC in connection with ration door delivery vehicles after SEC raised objection on CM Jagan and YSRCP party pictures on ration door delivery vehicles. It can be noted that the Jagan government has approached the court on the same while the hearing on the petition is still going.
