In a development which further fumed up the heat between Jagan-led Andhra government and SEC Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar, ministers Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy and Botsa Satyanarayana gave an unexpected shock to the former.
Accusing that the SEC is misusing his power, the YRSCP ministers served Nimmagadda with privilege notices. The ministers hereby urged the speakers to take necessary action against the SEC. It can be recalled that SEC earlier approached the Governor against the political vendetta of YRSCP ministers & MP Vijayasai Reddy.
While speaker Tammineni is yet to respond on the ongoing development, the legal heads in the states are looking into the technicalities of serving privilege notices to the head of an election body in the state.
