Sticking to his promise made to the victim’s family who has been fighting a battle for justice, CM Jagan ordered a CBI probe into Sugaali Preethi case. Over the same the state secretary, Kumar Vishwajeet issued GO 37 stating the Sugali Preethi case be handed over to CBI on Thursday.
Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, during his visit to Kurnool on February 18, met family members of Sugali Preethi has promised justice to 14-year-old to SSC student who lost her life under suspicious circumstances in Cattamanchi Ramalinga Reddy High School hostel, on the outskirts of Kurnool city. Though the girl’s body was found hanging to the ceiling fan, parents allege that their daughter was forcibly raped by the school owner and later was murdered.
