Demands YS Jaganmohan Reddy to clarify Amaravati as capital city
Guntur: Responding to the panic created over the Amaravati capital city, Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan has warned the YSRCP government that he wouldn’t tolerate any such move of shifting capital city as it’ll impact the interests of farmers and public in general.
“If the previous government was involved in corruption, the present government can enquire into it and take legal measures. But, in the name of corruption, the government shouldn’t take any action that will be detrimental of farming community. Unfortunately YS Jaganmohan Reddy is acting as chief of YSRCP, but not working as chief minister of Andhra Pradesh. The farmers have surrendered their land to the AP government, but not to the TDP. YS Jagan should realise about it. I demand YS Jaganmohan Reddy to give clarity on Amaravati capital city and confirm it to the people of Andhra Pradesh. I’ll meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and union home minister Amit Shah in this regard,” remarked Pawan Kalyan.
The Jana Sena chief has threatened the YSRCP government that he would go any extent in safeguarding the interest of people. Pawam Kalyan on Friday toured Amaravati region and interacted with farmers.
He further stated that Jana Sena is not against decentralisation of power, while wondering over the change of thought in capital city as YS Jagan being the opposition leader of the house agreed on Amaravati as capital city.
Pawan Kalyan advised minister Botsa Satyanarayana to think before making any public statement. “After winning the election with stupendous majority, YS Jaganmohan Reddy seems to be discomfort and I don’t know what made him so nervous in just 90 days of his ruling. Earlier, we had decided not to speak for 100 days, but the functioning of YSRCP government has forced me to speak up against the injustice being done to the people of Andhra Pradesh,” further added Pawan Kalyan.
