A shocking incident took place in Andhra Pradesh state’s political fraternity. AP Minister Mekapati Gautam Reddy (50) has passed away. He was taken to Hyderabad Apollo after suffering a severe heart attack. Gautam died while he was getting treatment at the hospital.
The sources from the Apollo hospital reveal that Gautam Reddy took his last breath at 8.45 am on Monday. The information was provided to his family members right after it happened. Gautam Reddy has recently recovered from a COVID infection. He arrived from Dubai a few days ago. In Dubai, he participated in the Dubai Expo for over a week. He also spent Sunday night happily at a function and arrived home around 9.45 pm.
Gautam Reddy woke up at 6 AM on Monday. He started having a minor heart attack while sitting on the sofa on the second floor at about 7 AM. He told the cook to call driver Nageswara Rao at 7.12 AM. At 7.15 AM he collapsed from the sofa with a heart attack.
At 7.18 AM, the driver Nageswara Rao came running and pressed his hand on the minister’s chest, and relieved him briefly. At 7.22 he told his wife that the pain was getting worse and left immediately to go to the hospital. At 7.27 AM, the minister arrived at Apollo Hospital from his home in just 5 minutes, the fastest. At 8:15 the doctors said that the pulse was good and that we were trying. At 9.13 AM, Mekapati was pronounced dead at the scene. The news was made official at 9.15 AM.
Gautam Reddy won from Atmakuru, Nellore district in 2014 and 2019. Soon after the YCP formed a government, Gautam was selected as the Minister of Industries and IT. Gautam Reddy was born on November 2, 1971. YCP fraternity was shocked by his death. All the cabinet and party members are mourning his death.
