Are the people’s representatives openly collaborating with the corrupt officials in Telangana? Are ministers, MLAs, and MPs trying hard to protect the corrupt officials from the judiciary and police system? “I will eradicate corruption, I will put an end to it,” did KCR really mean these words? If so, would he punish his own son if he involves in corruption? These are the questions posed by the opposition leaders. Political analysts are now of this opinion as soon as a minister decided to bring back an official who was earlier suspended for involving in a Rs 100 crore scam back in 2017.
It is alleged that almost all the corrupt officials in the state have a strong backing of politicians. In 2017, at the Vemulawada temple, Laddu Sales Department Superintendent Namala Rajender has been fined with respect to the allegations of a Rs 100 crore scam. Authorities ordered him to resign after serving nearly three months in prison, which was confirmed by ACB officials. With this, he announced his retirement at that time.
Recent news has it that some people in a high position within the government are trying hard to get him back on duty. In particular, he is trying to win the situation by showing off a letter from state minister Allolla Indra Karan Reddy. This is giving rise to questions like government supporting the corrupt officials. Opposition parties claim that the kind of money the middlemen and corrupt officials are looting from the government and commoners is increasing exponentially in the KCR’s regime.
Scholars are questioning if Indrakaran Reddy can give an assurance to “Will the corrupt individual once again commit the same mistake if given another chance?” Opposition leaders are of opinion that the man who managed to handle a scam of Rs 100 crores would be capable of doing bigger scams if given another chance, in fact, they are angry at the government for recommending to hire Rajender back, and sending the request to the endowment department about the same. Leaders from all corners are bashing the government for these considerations.
